If you are a beginner it's good to let me know you're coming.

Generally, if you can lie on the floor to work, the class will be suitable for you. Before you come, please discuss with me any special requirements or concerns you may have.

A wide range of people come to weekly classes, from those working with a specific difficulty, like a shoulder problem, or back pain, to those wishing to improve their performance in a number of fields, from walking better, to dancing or acting. Ages vary - from eleven to over eighty years old (not in every class!) but generally adults.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothes. There will be some mats and blankets available, but please bring your own if possible. It’s a wooden floor, but nicely warm, with underfloor heating.

It's always an option to try one class to see what it's like.

We’ll be working in the Dojo, at Stillpoint, The Stoneyard, Old Orchard, Bath BA1 5AX
It’s not an obvious address - people have got lost before - so here's a map and some notes:

Stillpoint is about 10 minute’s walk from Bath Abbey in the centre of the city. Walk up Walcot Street (past Waitrose), and Old Orchard is a small lane down to the right. At the bottom, turn left, following the sign to the Dojo.

There is no parking at Stillpoint - it’s possible to drop people off, but the parking there is private.

Here’s a picture of the turning - sandwiched between Aqua and the Thai Restaurant. (The scaffolding is not there any more.)

See you there!
